So I was curious and popped the oil cap off just to see the timing chains since dohc motors are new to me and I couldn't help but notice the timing chain looks like it has a slight wobble on my car but I checked my buddies f150 with the 5.0 and it doesn't do this..just wondering if anyone else has
noticed it before and is it normal

You have a nice warranty that covers that if it should fail. Drive your car and enjoy it.

Better to look paranoid than have an actual problem with your cams. I highly doubt that though as the cams and chain would make a hell of a racket when the engine is running.

Seriously?

It's a chain. They vary a bit link to link, plus there's this thing called clearance between the chain and sprocket not to mention between the links themselves, and thus don't always track totally straight. If tensioned properly, no worries.

I know I know I figured I was being overly paranoid so I dropped it car runs great so I figured nothing is wrong I'm in love with the 5.0 it's my first mod motor so I'm having fun figuring out how the engine works lol
