Hey guys....

2016 Non-PP GT

Was thinking of painting my calipers and maybe throwing a decal on. Was considering red to add color, or maybe silver to go with rest of car. Other then Brembo stuff haven't seen much(I am not putting brembo on non-brembos). I see tons of stuff for other makes like Chevy, audi, Mercedes AMG, but not so much Ford

Have about 47k miles going to do at least pads or pads/rotors. I have contemplated upgrading to Brembos, but not totally sold on cost, I am quit content with stock brakes (DD, spirited driving may do an autocross eventually, but no track days). I think I might go with Ford PP full suspension setup 1st.

Nothing wrong with painting em and leaving em sticker free. If you Google " Ford mustang GT caliper sticker" a lot of options show up...that is if you want mustang, ford, GT logo etc... Can always have your own text options done through an Etsy, or local decal shop as well.

They make caliper covers. It's an option if you don't want to paint your calipers.

Not my cup of tea...

I saw saw some of that but figured the Mustang was popular enough to get off the shelf stuff, not complicate it too much. I started with Amazon and a little ebay ill keep digging also curious if anyone did anything.

Something sized for a S550 non-PP caliper... Nothing generic for a caliper on a 82 Mustang 5.0 on 14"s that isnt sized right.

I don't like them either. To me if anyone uses them, it tells me they are a poser. They are trying to look like they have big brakes. Not to mention, they restrict airflow around the caliper which may cause overheating during spirited driving.

Same here... not trying to get to flashy and order the entire AM catalog... I try to be simple and clean. Not even sure if I want to do red. But little color might look good. I just want to clean up a 6 yr 50k caliper a little bit, just getting ideas if worth throwing $15 of decals and a little clear as well when I do a brake job.

Posers indeed, that's what we have today.

I had your car. Check my sig. I did exactly what you’re planning. Take my advice. If you have stock shocks and struts, before you spend a DIME on the suspension try the Bilstein B6 shocks and struts. This is the single best improvement I made in my 2016. Thank me later.:like:
