Are there any performance benefits to adding the CS splitter? More front end downforce maybe?

I'm certain there is some improvement in down force, whether measurable or not. Anytime you increase the area of the front splitter there is a mathematical increase in down force.
However IMO the main benefit is aesthetics. This is the splitter that non-PP cars should have come with from the factory. It gives the car a much more aggressive look. I believe its well worth the cost.

We've been getting this on a rather consistent basis. We currently have one on the shelf, and another on order.

Be sure to order from our fordparts.com website, and the shipping is dirt cheap!

Mike,
I am ordering via the url you posted. What is the significance when the part says "Pickup only" under the Fulfillment column in the cart? It sounds like it is too big to ship. I realize the material content of some parts is problematic, but this happened when I put the large California Special splitter in there.

When I ordered mine it didn't state any of that. It shipped out to me UPS in about 3-4 business days.

I just tried doing the same on my end, and was still "shippable". Do you have any other parts in your cart, or just the one?

Shipping on a Premium rear valence from you to me modeled at $109 UPS. So I have no faith for affordable cost on large items, no matter who I buy from. If you want, I will call you tomorrow.

It's all about Fordparts.com, which uses Fed Ex flat rate shipping. The rates are all arranged between Ford and Fed Ex, not us. Most of the larger items are not considered "shippable" because of this. However, some larger items (including the GT/CS splitter) are still considered shippable, and subject to the cheap flat rate shipping.

http://www.fordparts.com/

Go to "My profile"
-"select dealer"
The easiest way to find us is to search by zip code. We are in zip code 55110. "Autonation Ford White Bear Lake"

You are still buying from us, but under the Ford website (with their prearranged shipping rates)

Otherwise, most large items are obviously expensive to ship. Many times we can still save you money. Sometimes it makes more sense to buy from the local dealer.

I'm out of the office tomorrow, but give Chris a call during the day of you still have ??

Totally agree. I called up my dealer and they got me one for $300 installed and out the door.

I already did all of your suggestions. Part was premium bumper rear valence.

I chose ANWBL as My Dealer on the FordParts.com site. --> Not shippable
Then I called/emailed. --> Was quoted $109 ship cost. :(

It's a much more aggressive look although I want something even more aggressive.

Call me crazy, but I never liked the look of the cali special splitter. It's just an oversized normal splitter, and just looks off. The PP splitter is molded differently and just looks better.

Unfortunately, the supply of take off PP splitters has run dry, as far as I can tell. The belly pan isn't too expensive from ford, but the splitter itself is way overpriced.

Is it bigger than the GTPP splitter?
