C&l bypass valve

Hey everyone I’m brand new to the forum and had a few problems going on. I just got my EB about a month ago and wanted to achieve that blow off sound without spending too much so i bought the c&l bypass adapter, on install my brother dropped it and it broke so when i drove it it sounded like it was constantly releasing air like a hiss sound. I ordered a new oem bypass valve and installed it but instead of getting the blow off sound now I’m getting a flutter after i let off the accelerator. I hear turbo flutter is pretty bad for the car and I’m pretty worried so any input would be appreciated.
