I'm wanting that blow off noise to be louder then what it is now. One of the reasons I went with the EB. American Muscle has the C&L with good reviews but wanting some more experienced opinions from you guys. It looks pretty easy to take back off once it's on so if my car has to go to the ford house for repair it's pretty fast to take off. I just want to make sure it's not going to give me trouble down the road. MBRP cat back exhaust and MM catch can are only mods so far

It wont give you any issues and its a simple install. But you can just take your recirculating tube off of the DV and call it a day. Sounds the same and costs nothing.

I bought the C&L bypass adapter as one of my first mods. It took me no more than an hour to install including the time it took to find the tools and put them away. It is really easy to install, just remove 3 allen head bolts and take the bypass valve off and then put the adapter in-between it and the pipe, the put the 3 new bolts in. The hardest part for me was that the space is a bit tight and I have fat fingers, and its in kinda an awkward spot. I would recommend unbolting a few of your intake mounts so that you can shift it out of the way a bit. I did that halfway through install as I got tired of fighting it so much and it was much easier. Also be careful not to drop any of the bolts. I dropped one of the factory bolts and it was never seen again. I don't think you would need to remove it when taking it in for warranty work. When I was doing research I could not find any way that it would negatively effect the car as long as you don't break anything during install (careful not to tighten the bolts to much). This means it shouldn't affect warranty. I actually took my car in to get a front engine cover leak fixed and they didn't say anything about it. I would think that the catch can or cat-back would be more likely to raise warranty issues than this.

As far as sound, I wanted it for this exact reason. I personally think it sounds awesome and have had it on for 3+months. The only thing I will say is that if you are cruising on the highway in 5/6 gear sometimes the computer likes to hold the valve open which will result in this long hisssssssss noise. Sounds basically like your A/C just got turned up to full blast. I just say this in full disclosure not to deter you as I got used to it really fast and doesn't bother me, it just freaked me out at first because I thought I had blown something or was leaking boost terribly. If you have your radio up about half way that far overpowers the noise just as a reference.

My favorite part about it is when I am cruising around town and am going by some people whose attention I want to get I will purposefully make it blow off right as I am passing them. Honestly I don't think most people notice but sometimes it gets them to look. Puts a bit smile on my face, and a big scowl on my girlfriends face everytime ;)

The last thing I thought to mention is that I have a manual. I can pretty well control when it is going to blow off any how it is going to blow off (loud/quiet, long/short) by how I am using the throttle and what gear I am in. If you have an automatic I imagine the entire experience would be different. Regardless you will definitely get the basic sound are looking for.
