Hi everyone, my first post. I just placed an order for a 2015 GT and now the long wait begins. After many years of driving a BMW, I will be making the switch to the Mustang. One drive and I was blown away. The BMW I drive is a great machine, just tired of the ridiculous maintenance costs. Great forum, keep up the great work!!:ford:

Make sure you check the trunk dimensions before you get rid of that BMW. Sorry, inside joke here.

What packages and colors did you order?

Yup. I loved my 323 coupe. Great car but the maintenance costs were too much for me especially after it got to about 125k and things started to go bad.

Welcome to the Club! Got rid of my 335i for the same reasons. $6k in maintenance this year alone. But the car was awesome, looking forward to my Magnetic GT. Congrats and have fun with COTUS!

$6k in maintenance is crazy!! My 4 year bumper to bumper warranty just ran out, so really hoping nothing major happens from now until I pick up the Mustang and give them my keys for the BMW.

You should be ok, mine started falling apart at 85k. Injectors, water pump, battery, coils, plugs, thrust arm bushings, brakes, etc...

Nice, I am converting over from an Audi TT... GREAT car but now has it's gremlins. 100k miles, still runs great just the maintenance cost just not worth going through... still needed the 60k Mike maintenance but the cost on that is ridiculous esp changing out a timing belt... May need a new thermostat since it hates the hot weather but runs a little cold in the cold.... The handling on the mustang blew me away for a rwd.... going to be hard giving up the awd though by the time I need anything like that... truck will be out.... congrats on your order
