I hope that Ford Australia or the dealers doesn't try to "over charge" us just to make a bigger profit.
I expect (or hope) that the base price of the Bullitt should be around the $73k mark - plus onroads, delivery and taxes.
So that would make it around $75-77k drive away.

I also note that the UK version comes with Recaro seats but no mention if it has upgraded suspension.

Okay, lets figure this out.

A white 2018 GT manual is $69375 drive away here in Victoria. Bullitt has a pod filter, GT350 manifold and throttle body, special paint, 3.73:1 diff ratio (maybe), gauge pack (maybe), dark exhaust tips, unique grilles, revised PCM, Magneride, and special shiny Bullitt bits.

Yeah, that'd get you into mid/high seventies incl some LCT. To be honest, I was expecting north of eighty....so I'm pleasantly surprised (until I'm not).

What did I miss?

How do you know magneride is included?
That and the issue of the recaro seats seem to be the big issues in evaluations of $$ value over a new GT
I would estimate that the oz price will be about $A80K and here in NZ about $NZ91k

The dealers here were promised pricing in May so now that's out to "June"

Dealers here say that Magneride is included and the only option for Australian buyers is Recaros.

The Poms have it the other way around, they’re told that Recaros are standard. We’ll see, I guess.

Recaros are apparently $3,000 more

$69k drive away price seems high..

The Australian Ford web sites states the "Driver away price " for a base model white manual in VIC is $62875 .
then add the Bullitt extra's which are estimated to be around $10 -15k.
so $73-75K seems to be about right.
The Magneride suspension may add more if its included as standard and also add around $1500 for LCT.

if you want the Recaros seat option - add $3k

I think you’re looking at 2017 Mustang prices. That $69k 2018 price list I got straight out of the salesman’s hand.

Correct. MY18 prices aren't on the Ford AU website yet.

I’d be surprised if the Bullit was less than $85K. Dealers will add more to a certain extent to make the most of the demand and I’m expecting $85 to $90K.

Just got rung by my dealer here in Auckland to tell me that the Bullitt is due here in October and has both magneride and recaros and a price of $NZ93,450 which is about $NZ5k more than a new GT with recaros and magneride.
4 months to wait!!!!!!

https://www.carsales.com.au/editorial/details/ford-australia-confirms-mustang-bullitt-details-113213/

"Ford Australia has announced full details of the limited-edition Mustang Bullitt ahead of the local release of 700 examples from October. First revealed at the 2018 Detroit motor show in January and then confirmed for Australia in March, the six-speed manual-only Mustang Bullitt will cost $73,688 plus on-road costs here."

"At 345kW of power and 556Nm of torque, they’re 6kW/10Nm more than the standard MY18 Mustang GT (339kW/566Nm) and about the same as the European version"
