Is that your window sticker, Bruce?
No - its an "export" model - but is LHD (well it doesn't say it a RHD).
My guess is Europe or maybe China.

My window sticker is not available yet.

it's déjà vu again - spending half the night checking Etis - and other sites looking for the window sticker and the progress on the build..

Then tracking the ship...etc

One interesting fact:

the VIN numbers for the Bullitt's being built now begin with "1FA6P8K07K55xxxxx"
while the one I was given is "1FA6P8V01K51xxxxx"

The "P8K" is normally shows the type of car it is ie convertible or coupe, GT or ecoboost etc.

I'm guessing that the LHD Bullitt's are "P8K" and the RHD Bullitt's are "P8V.."

Nice, I like digging into numbers :)

Here's the model codes for the US market 2019 Mustangs:

Mustang V8 – Fastback (Bullitt) = P8K
Mustang GT – Fastback = P8C
Mustang V8 – Convertible = P8F
Mustang EcoBoost – Fastback = P8T
Mustang EcoBoost – Convertible = P8U

How have VIN's already been assigned for the bullit when 2019 models haven't had their VIN assigned yet?

The Bullitt mustang is a 2019 model.
My understanding is that in the US - the car factories change their model's in June during the factory shutdown.
So all cars made from now will be the 2019 model.

My apologies, by 19 i meant standard GT opposed to a Bullit. My dealer for my MY19 told me that ford AU is assigning the VIN's out a week into production, not a few weeks before hand anymore which is why i found it odd people are getting Bullit VIN's already

Ask your dealer for your NSC code.. then follow my Sticky post on how to get and track your VIN. (ETIS and Window Sticker Process )

they are normally allocated 6 - 10 weeks in advance of the expected build date.

Following the US lead, it'll be the last four digits of the VIN on your dash. Since this first Oz batch is limited to 700, it'll be (for example) 0351.
