My left front wheel rubs on this splash guard when near full lock to the right, you can see the end of it is chewed from the wheel weights hitting it. There isn't one on the right side and when I looked under a 2019 GT at the weekend it didn't have one on either side, I'm intrigued to know why it's only on one side and none on the GT, my best guess is it's to minimize water splashing up and into the open air box directly above, any other ideas guys? Are everone else's cars the same?

I found this under another car today, it seems mine has been installed incorrectly at the factory, I spoke to the Ford dealer and there is only one fitted on the left side, these are UK spec RHD cars so they may differ on US ones.

Thanks el-guapin, I’ve managed to flip it behind the sway bar, it doesn’t hang right so not ideal but at least the wheel won’t rub it anymore
