So, my MT-82 finally decided it had enough of my shenanigans. 10k miles into boost (32k miles total), making an average of 700 wheel, and no track passes, only nights in Mexico.
I plan on putting twins in the car eventually, hopefully enough to make 1000. Until then, I'll be hovering at high 700 wheel.
What's the most RELIABLE trans that isn't overkill for my goals? Built 6R80? Magnum xl? Calimer MT-82 Stage 3? Calimer TR6060 Stage 1? I just need something to hold up to roll racing only. If I don't need to spend 6 grand on a Magnum swap, I'd rather not if it's over kill. Especially since at that price range, I'd probably rather go auto (Midnight is here in Houston, and their built 6r80s are pretty impressive). Obviously if the Calimer stage 2 is plenty to hold, I'd be more than happy as that price is a lot more forgiving.
