Sales guy called about an hour ago and said he just watched them unload it. Get off in about an hour. She will be mine in less than 4. Two days ahead of EDD.

Good luck on getting the car home before the storms roll in. We got some baseball size hail here in OKC along with several small twisters this evening.

So cool, I love black cars when they are not mine. They just make me crazy, triing to keep them clean. Don't get me wrong I clean my cars every day if I drive them.
Maybe my GT will come in late next week.

My EDD now says 3/29/15, but it also says 2 days to delivery. should i expect it Saturday? what prep does the dealer have to do to the car once it arrives? They have been asked not to clean the car in any way.

Thanks! My EDD was 3/27 and it said 1 day till delivery which suggested 3/26. It always appeared to be ahead 1 day on the math the whole time. Even when EDD moved around. So I'm not exactly sure.

On the prep part it shouldn't take long. My dealership actually detailed it. I was thinking about asking them not to do it, but I may not get time to for a few weeks. He called me at 3:47 PM and said he just watched them unload it off the truck and handed it off to the prep department himself to ensure they didn't drill the front bumper. I arrived around 7:15 PM and the car was sitting there ready for me.

Since this was my 3rd car from the same sales guy I may have gotten some front of the line treatment for them to move it along in prep.

My dealer said they need 1.5 hours to do the make ready/inspection. The key for my dealership is the techs go home at 5, so the car has to be in the back by 3:30 to get out the same day.

That would be pretty awesome. I want to sign the paperwork before the end of the day on the 31st as that's the day Ford Canada 0% financing ends on the Mustang. I locked in at 1.99% when I ordered, so I stand to save $2000 over 60 months if I can lock in at 0% instead. If it rolled in tonight, I'd take tomorrow off to pick up and detail it. If not, I'm busy Saturday, and on-call next week. What sucks is if I take a "day off" when on-call, I still need to handle the phone/business after 5PM so it's not a real day off, but I'm willing to do that if I am able to sign and save $2000 going with 0%...

I did my paperwork 2 weeks ago so i could use my coupon, have your dealer back date it all or do it before the 31st even if the car is not here.

IN TRANSIT!!! My EDD jumped forward 2 full weeks from April 03 to April 17, but I don't even care. It's nice just knowing that it is in transit now. My dealership had said from the beginning April 19, so it looks like they knew what they were talking about haha.

It backdated my "awaiting shipment" completion date all the way back to April 09. Does that mean it actually shipped out that day, or they just getting my hopes up?

My DD changed today from 4-3 to 3-29! My salesman is off today. So I called Ford customer service, they said the car gets to the rail yard on 3-29! So now I need to talk to my salesman about how long it will take for the car to get to the dealer:clap2: does anyone know what rail yard the cars come into to for Los Angers? And how long it takes to come by truck?

EDD is still sitting at 4/3, but my car has been 'awaiting shipment' since 3/10 :rant:

In that time my EDD has been bumped up from 4/4 to 4/3.

Not sure if my cotus is just not updating correctly as im in canada or what.. but it better not be delayed :rant::rant:
