I have the premium trim and I have my car. I have just come to the conclusion that Ford does not do FIFO. There is no rhyme or reason to the process. BMW does not handle custom orders in the same way as their retail orders. Their custom orders don't even come out of the dealers allocation. Ford might want to handle custom orders the same way. A custom order is an almost sold car whereas a retail order might not get sold for months. I guess the car buying process would have to change to a German model. I guess America does not like delayed gratification.Has anyone with premium trim seats received their cars from this build week?
Thanks!Wish I had a garage, congrats!
Congrats! Have fun with the new 'baby'! :ford:I picked up on 4/23, and then immediately went out of town. I've now had some time to wash > claybar > wash > wax and take some pictures.![]()

I wonder if this has to do with the half shaft TSB on PP cars.Big update for you guys:
Spoke with my dealer, he said ford ran out of one of the parts for the performance package so it's waiting on a part before it ships. He said he has mine and 2 other gt's with the package custom ordered that haven't shipped. Nationwide it's about 1000 cars stuck at the plant.
The regional rep for my area is also getting calls left and right about dealers not receiving cars so he's getting on the plant trying to speed the process along.
No clue but they're working on it because everyday a few more ship.I wonder if this has to do with the half shaft TSB on PP cars.
Thank you!Congrats! Awsome looking car! :ford:
