Good thing I really don't need this car for a daily driver or anything.....

Since my EDD has been bumped back twice already, I have no doubt at this point that something's up with mine and it will be bumped back yet again. Really makes me wonder about buying a first-year car (again).

Hi Guys I'm a newbie to this forum but I have been checking in time to time because I also had a build week 3/2. My pony arrive at my dealer yesterday and I will be picking her up today after work. I will upload pictures later.

Congrats!

Mine was built on 3/4 also but is still in limbo after over two weeks, still allegedly 'awaiting shipment'. Grrr. So much for priority 10.

My location is Toronto, Ontario, Canada. I ordered a magnetic V6 auto with nothing else (going to get different rims).

Ordered 2/23
Order Processed 2/27
Build date 3/6
Finished Building 3/9
EDD was 3/19, now that option disappeared
Status: Awaiting Shipment...

Now at times, COTUS says my vehicle is invalid. Called my dealer and they said its still awaiting shipping. I'm kind of worried if there's something wrong. I PMd FordService if they can help me with a status check.

Mine just moved to 'in transit' this afternoon. However, my EDD has slipped yet again to 4/5.

That is, if COTUS is to be believed at all.....it says 'awaiting shipment' was completed 3/11, not today's date.

Still waiting here, and now it doesn't matter - winter returned last night to the tune of 5-6" of snow, with another 1-3" for tomorrow night.

So, I hope my car doesn't show until at least mid-week or later now.

Hey everyone,

I just got an update after calling Ford of Canada Customers Relationship Centre. They have told me that the car is still under production. My dealership told me 2 weeks ago that my car shipped out, and last week they told me its sitting in the lot awaiting shipment (it isn't). My dealership lied twice. I found a car that was exactly the same as mine, with a build date 2 days earlier than my car. That car is sitting in a nearby dealers lot for sale. I asked my dealer to give me that car instead since its ready, and they said no they can't do it. I asked them to cancel my order so I can pick up that car instead, but they said that i'll lose my $1000 deposit and they will sue me for interest for however long my car sits on their lot not being sold.

Customers relationships told me that they will take this to upper management, creating a case, and will investigate what is going on and call me back within 2 days. They told me that this production halt could be because their are too many cars awaiting shipment and their have been many rail delays because the companies have had problems. Well at least they'll begin an investigation, but I am pretty unhappy about all this and just thought I'd share my experience.

Thanks. Sorry to hear that. The snow can certainly suck the fun out of some things in life.

That blows!! I would be very pissed at my dealer if they did that to me. That's a dirty game to play with customers. Not something any company should do. What dealer is it?

Awaiting shipment for 2 weeks now. This just stinks!
2 Weeks is a long time. Have you called Ford yet?
