Thank you! I'm not posting pictures until after the detailer does a minor paint correction and CQuartz coating. Dropping her off Monday at 5 and I will pick her up Wednesday at 5.

I hope everyone gets their cars sooner than what Ford estimated, it's truly worth the wait! Once you get in and drive you forget all about the torture of the wait.

Nice, you'll love the CQuartz coating. I use that on all my vehicles and love the result. I try to convince all my customers to opt for it. Make sure to pick up a bottle of Reload to spray on top after a few washed to keep the smooth feeling.

Personally I've never put on more than one. You can't go wrong with two, but anymore than that is overkill and is simply just to drive the price up of the detail IMO.

Thanks for the info. They quoted me a starting price of $650 for the minor paint repair and CQuartz but that's an estimate because they haven't seen the car yet. They are authorized dealers and they have great reviews. I'm going to ask how many coats they are applying but feel the price is more than fair for the amount of work they are performing for the price.

Update: I finally got a pic but it was at night. I'm taking it to the detailer this afternoon and will be without it until Wednesday early evening. I will post better pics after I pick up my baby from the detailer.

I hate to be the bear of bad news for those who are still waiting, but I stumbled upon this today.

Ford Motor Company is recalling 1,900 model year 2016 Ford Mustangs manufactured September 26, 2015, to October 1, 2015.
The front and rear seat belts and child seat tether anchors may have been damaged in shipping from the supplier to the vehicle assembly plant and may not adequately restrain the occupant in a crash. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard numbers 208, "Occupant Crash Protection," and 225, "Child restraint anchorage systems."

If the restraint components do not function as intended, the occupants may not be properly restrained in the event of a crash, increasing their risk of injury.

Ford will notify owners, and dealers will replace the front and rear seat belt assemblies and the child seat tether anchors, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin on December 14, 2015.

Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 15C13.

Wow, am I lucky that mine was released from the factory and no longer has a recall.

Sorry for those whose cars are held up in this mess. My front seatbelt latches don't match so I guess they were fixed at the factory. They're not pretty but they work. I will take pictures before I take it to the detailer and post them up later.

Couple things rub me the wrong way about that article. Firstly, they'll replace them "free of charge"? Of course they will. It's their fault! Secondly, there's an internal memo that the parts will come November 30th. Whether that means they can order the 30th of November or the parts will be there the 30th will be seen. It's more likely the article is wrong than the internal memo being incorrect, but we all know how Ford can lie to us.

At this point, the car will get here when it gets here. I'm going to buy it, because it's a good purchase, but I will never speak kindly about Ford. Except for Deysha. I'll speak her praises for sure.

They make and distribute 5000 cars, sell 125000 cars and then make excuses as to why the rest can't be found, delivered, sighted anywhere etc

Bernie Madoff isn't working for ford on a work release scheme, is he?

It's not even noticeable, took me two days to notice and I always buckle up. The first two pictures are of the driver side and the second two are the passenger side. They're not the same size or shape and wtf is that on the driver side one and the passenger side has a strip of one side of Velcro. I will ask for them to be replaced when the actual fix for the recall is available.

The date keeps slipping, it is appalling to me that Ford can't come up with parts to repair 3 days worth of production now that they have been inn production with good parts for over 6weeks. That would only be a half day worth of build volume per week in spare seat belts.

It is very fishy and I don't think Ford is being honest or completely forthcoming in their communication. There is something else going on that they are not admitting to.

Here's my baby on the lift after clay bar and iron X, next she's getting polished and primed for CQuartz. The wheels are off because they're getting done too! These guys are really good if you're in SoFlo they are mobile too and they use the two bucket method with grit guard. They had just finished polishing a DIB EcoBoost when I was dropping off mine and it looked amazing. Their prices are very reasonable for the quality of work they do.
