Wish me luck! My dealer is having the other car I was tracking delivered to the dealership today. I feel like I need all the good vibes I can get to close this thing out.

Assuming it gets there I'm going to go check it out tonight or tomorrow evening. If everything checks out and the dealership doesn't try to screw me on my trade in (the only variable part of the financial equation at this point) then I'll be bringing it home. At this point I'm not sure if I'm more excited about getting a car or about just wrapping this whole saga up.

Good Luck!

I can relate about being excited about getting a car, but I'm really happy with the car I ended up with versus what I ordered.

Trust me, it's also a great feeling to end the saga and get out of recall hell! :headbang:

Couldn't stand it any longer and went to see my GT. Everyone is right about pics and no justice. Gawd I wish it was summertime and I was driving it off the lot today. Dealer ordered a cover for it since it will be stuck in this weather indefinitely but there is a nice warm garage waiting for it at home. By then I'll probably have it towed and then treat the paint to some much needed maintenance. Garage Queen!
What a beauty! Congrats, GT5150!

My car's finally at the dealer. To be prepped and delivered tomorrow.
Congrats again, mjribeiro!

FordService Deysha, do you have any update on the seatbelt recall and timing of parts? Many dealer has now put me into a rental car, I was at a breaking point and they did that to keep the sale. I am thankful, but losing faith that Ford can take care of me.

The recall states shipping damage, and I know the plant has continued to produce vehicles. Vehicles produced the week after ours are able to be sold. I understand that they couldn't shut the plant down to supply our cars with parts, however it has been almost 6 weeks and Ford can't manage their inventory well enough to repair 1900 cars that escaped their quality inspection? The ridiculousness is continuing to build!
No info on my end yet, Ozzmosis86.

My car was loaded off the truck yesterday. I picked her up last night after work. Got in there and out in just 2 hours.
Very nice!! Congrats, Squigley!!

Mine is at the dealership, hoping to pick her up tomorrow!
Woo hoo! Congrats, PonyGrrrl!!

She's home! Body alignment is very poor. In fact the passenger door hits the fender. Rear bumper cover is getting re installed too. I want to put some miles on it first before winter shuts me down.

Man. 2 years full of complaints about the alignment issue yet Ford can't even hire someone qualified to calibrate the machines putting the cars together? It's not rocket science. Good thing they are not building space shuttles

Even my old rust bucket Kia from the 80s is aligned perfectly. What a shame.

The wait is finally over! I'm hoping the car has a few less issues than the process it took to get it. I had issues with the dealer right up until the final signature on the final form. But they did eventually fix the mistake and make good on the original deal.

The only bad thing is that the front license plate bracket was already installed from the dealer they transferred this one from. So I'll have to buy plugs but that's a small concession to finally have a car. :headbang:

Does anybody have a fix on the availability of the replacement belt parts yet?
Are they being slowly dribbled out now or will no one see anything until after Nov 30?

Ford US is telling Ford NZ that all our export cars affected have been rectified, yet the recall notice is still showing against my vin number on the ford owners website

What a shambles !!!!
Maybe we could start a survivors group for the week of Sept 28

Great looking car man! I'd probably be in one that exactly matched the car I ordered but before the dealer initiated the DX, we found out it had the front plate already screwed in. Back to the waiting game I went Lol! Still not sure why dealers install the front plates before the vehicles are even sold, especially performance cars.

Thanks again for everything Deysha.
You're very welcome, GT5150!!

Congrats again, mjribeiro. I’m happy to escalate those concerns for you. PM me with your full name, mileage, and best daytime number.

She looks great, OxFord6G! Congrats!!

Deysha, does my car show a recall on your end?
Yes, Digope. The recall still shows on your vehicle.

Question for you guys. I'm moving out of OK for NC a month from today. I just got the MBRP Street in the mail and want to install it. Do you think I should considering we're getting information that they won't even get to order the parts until the 30th? This whole situation has been a crapshoot, and I'm getting to crunch time on whether or not I should cancel my order. I'm not going to find one like mine on the lots, and I don't really want to let one of my options go.

I never thought I'd be jealous of the people whose cars went back to the factory, but your cars look great. Hopefully our issue gets resolved soon or we at least get some solid information for once.

I wonder if you could have them change the delivery destination to your new city

I didn't realize that the premium trims come with the Shaker audio system minus the Shaker subwoofer. I thought you had to get the 401a package for the upgraded audio.

Also my Mustang didn't come with any floor mats at all. Is this an option you must select when ordering?
