My car is sitting on a train and was supposed to be arriving in Palm City, FL this morning at 3:30 am but CSX says it arrived in Carters, FL yesterday morning and hasn't updated to reflect it moving since. The train already broke down in Louisville last week and I hope it didn't break down again delaying things again! I'm hoping to take delivery this weekend but I'm thinking the stupid train broke again and I may have to wait another week. FML, first it was held at the plant for the damn recall, then the train broke down and sat for 5 days in Louisville.

Yes, it was held at the factory for a few weeks and released. Ford has until Nov 17 to deliver my car or they are in breach of the BBB decision.
Convoy, but it's only Convoy to and from the rail yards.

Car arrived at dealer but it's on hold for seat belts just like most everybody else on this thread. Not sure if I want to go see it before I can take it home, this wait has been torture enough. I'm planning on no earlier than the 30th, hoping to be surprised sooner.

Yeah. Although it seems like most have at least arrived at the dealer, mine is still sitting in the Railyard an hour from my dealer. I'm guessing it'll be ready to be picked up sometime after Turkey Day I hope.
Nice! Not much has changed, still as shitty as ever lol.

I was trying to hold out hope, however that is dwindling fast. Looks like this weekend it will all come to a head. Dealer hasn't been able to provide an update other than them getting the car at the end of November at the earliest and they won't let me keep the loaner that long.
I refuse to pay for a rental car waiting on Ford to get their act together. I have an open case with a regional customer service manager at Ford and now she refuses to return my calls.
If I could get the car to my dealer and approval from Ford, I think the dealer would swap parts from another car. I am losing hope over any of this working out due to a lack of effort on Ford's part...

Will do. My dealer got the same info as yours: not sure exactly what needs repaired/replaced, thus the 'remedy not yet available' on the recall notice. Nor are they sure if my specific vehicle needs remedy, just that it's on the recall list - the lucky 1900!

I am not so lucky, I sold my car in early October based on a delivery date after the car was on a train. I thought it would be easy to get to me. Then the car was FORD, Found On Railroad Dead.Hopefully before Christmas[emoji38]
The guy at the dealership told me Friday the car was still at the plant. Oh, well. Good thing I didn't sell my car as I had planned.

I doubt blame my dealer, it is on Ford. They set the dates and then don't hold them and don't communicate anything.

So the alternative car I was going to look at tomorrow is apparently not at the dealership. Ford Service (not Deysha) said it had an ETA of today 11/4. The dealership is saying that the car is still at the plant in Michigan.
There's a 3rd alternative but it has the nickel PP wheels which look awful on a white car IMO. I could see if anyone wants to trade for the black ones but that probably requires more effort than I want to give right now.
