Mine arrived at the dealer on Saturday, 5/23 and I picked it up Thursday, 5/28.

Finally, after 22 days without a COTUS update, I have a status change. My car is In Transit, but my EDD changed from 5/29 to 6/18. I wonder what was the reason for the delay? I hope it arrives earlier.

Ron01864: thanks for the update. I hope it does move up. I saw you were stuck in Awaiting Shipment for 2 weeks, I was stuck for over 3 weeks, and now I might have to wait for another 2+ weeks for EDD. I am just dreaming that I have warm weather, with my vert top down, and cruising around town, that all this waiting will be worth it.

Got a surprise today when dealer called letting me know the car is in. Went to see it, what a rush! Wont be taking it home for a few days looks like. Im getting finance on my own, got a much better rate then what Ford was offering. Problem is it takes a lot longer to seal the deal when not going thru the dealer for financing. It's all good in the end though! Already have my Borla S Catback at my exhaust guy waitng to go!

Emotional 5 Days

My car did arrive last Thursday around noon! :clap2: PDI took forever and the dealership called around 4PM. Busy day at the store so closing the deal took almost 4 hours. I didn't get out of there until after 8PM. Left town the next morning, returned Saturday afternoon. Finally got a chance to take it for some runs. Sunday I gave it a wash and found seven problems with panel alignment. :doh: Spent most of Sunday night reading posts about those issues. Spent most of today trying to get someone from the dealership to return my calls. :frusty: Finally I decided to just go over there and get my service guy to take a look. He agreed that we needed to take care of it and I've got an appointment with the body shop for this Thursday.

Not the romantic first impressions I had hoped for but I love the car. Just wish it didn't need repairs quite so soon. Takes the joy right out of it. :(
