Well, I just got an update from my dealer. Says my car has been dispatched from the railyard in Jessup MD, but I shouldn't expect it until tomorrow or Thursday. It's crazy it takes that long for it to get to NoVA from Jessup (like 1.5 hours with traffic), but who knows. At least it is rolling I guess.

It should be same day. I have bought a number of cars from this dealer in the past and he knows I'm anxious to get this one. I think they only hold ups they can have really are if I buy a car from them on a Sunday night. They can't legally sell me a car without an inspection on it first and if the inspection wasn't done and the people have gone home, then your out of luck until the next day.

Shouldn't be an issue for me I hope!

Today was my EDD -- I've gotten no updates yet -- I'm not sure if my car is/was in Jessup along with yours -- I live in Rockville, and my dealer is in Gaithersburg -- you'd think ours could be on the same carrier...

My car arived. It's stated delivered this morning on cutus and the dealership confirmed that they are able to prep it and get ready for pick up by 3 PM today. Whooohooo :-)

That makes 2 NY cars and mine going to MA that are still awaiting shipment. I bet the 3 cars will be traveling together. Im hoping to get her before the mustang show in CT in mid June. Would love to drive her down.

Apparently my car arrived in Jessup MD yesterday so it is now a matter of them unloading it and trucking it down to the dealer (I bet I was right about all the car carriers on I-95 in my post yesterday )
Guess it is just luck of the draw on them unloading it and putting it on a truck at this point and that is what will determine a delivery today/tomorrow/Sunday/Tuesday....

Sure would be nice if mine were in that group... I expect mine on Wednesday in Gaithersburg.

Both of yours are in the same spot, guys. They’ll get assigned a trucking company, then picked up, and delivered. Fingers crossed it happens within the week.

Yeah I'm hoping it comes in on june 1st my eddie hasn't changed at all since the blend date.

Dealership emailed me late this evening and my car is about 2 1/2 hours away in South Carolina. From there it moves from the train to the truck. ...

To my shock and delight I got a call from my dealer yesterday saying that my car just arrived. They had it ready for me by noon and it was the perfect sunny day to pick up a new convertible.

COTUS still says 5/29 delivery for me so it seems like when it's this close it can be any day. What a ride...

Nice! Meanwhile im still stuck in Awaiting Shipment with a June 1 EDD. That aint gonna happen as im not even in transit yet.:shrug:

Jeff from FordService on the forums said it was put on the truck this afternoon. I just checked COTUS again (as I have been all day) and it says DELIVERED! I'm not sure if it went to delivered when it go on the truck or it's on the lot.


My dealer rep is off this afternoon though so I don't think I can get it until tomorrow night when he is in, they do the PDI, etc One more day to wait :( I'll have to go by the dealer on the way home to look at it though!

Woohoo! Mine still says "In Transit" I hope it's just a bit behind yours -- no reason for them not to be on the same carrier, in my estimation...
