Build Week 05/11

Instead of trying to figure out more about the tracking I just started looking at other threads to find some folks with railcar deliveries to the Mid Atl. I didn't do a full regression analysis, but I did find some that took about a week once on the train. In particular, I found in the 3/30 build week thread someone who had theirs leave Flat Rock for New Boston on 4/9 and then they had delivery on 4/17 in Virginia. Assuming the car didn't get on the train until 4/10, it looks like it is about 7 days to the dealer in the VA area from New Boston, MI, figure a day of that is on the local truck after the train.

Beginning of April was also the end of a railcar shortage that first occurred in March so maybe faster.

I'm making the bold prediction of mine being at the dealer next Thursday for a Memorial Day Friday pick up!

My edd changed from 6/5 to 5/27 overnight, but still shows awaiting shipment. I suppose I won't know that date could be true until it says in transit.

No, I'm in MI. This was my second order because the first time he ordered the wrong seats and it was too late to stop the order(had a sticker) so he told me he would push my priority. I didn't know it would be this soon. I was expecting it late may/first week of June.

The edd was 5/25, not 5/27. I just checked again and COTUS changed to in transit. Yikes! It may very well get here sooner than I was anticipating.

EDD on cotus changed to 5/28, but dealer called to tell me any day after the 25th.

Woke up today to find my car showing up on my dealers webpage. Its a stock photo so I know mine isn't there yet, but it shouldn't be long now.

My car is like 99.8% perfect visually and I'm so happy about that.

The .2% is because on the lower bottom side of the drivers door it seems like the alignment is off by just little bit. You can't tell by just looking at it but when I run my hand across the bottom along the lines I can fill it (compared to the passenger, which is completely straight).

Ppl weren't lying when they said it was worth the wait, driving it off the lot was such and amazing feeling. To top it off I had a fiesta trying to race me on the expressway on my way home, lol I was like seriously, I had fun with almost letting him catch up, I slowed down just enough for them to get a good look :lol:

Interesting. I keep calling the csx number and it says no status. I hope I have the wrong railcar number and it is on its way.

This has to be the fastest build day to delivered Mustang! 2 days is unreal and I don't see it being beat..
