Budget custom coil covers

While not looking for a show quality engine bay I wanted something that more closely matched my newly installed Whipple. My first pass was painting the stock gray covers black. However I left those on my tailgate, never to be seen again.

So I needed a replacement but I didn't really want the automotive grade finish on something like the JLT covers, or the expense. I found a set of GT350 coil covers for $46 on ebay. Then I found these vinyl letters for $25. I was a bit skeptical but it only took my wife about an hour and they came out great.

Great find Bud!!! Just looked the sellers other items, as I was hoping he sold black. But I couldn’t find any.:doh:

I want to paint my covers white and have all the inlays black. This lettering seems much easier than painting. :shrug:

It took her about an hour. Its more tedious that hard.


fyi the bottom one is not wrinkly, thats just the light hitting it.

Got mine from http://www.anchor-room.com/. A slight pain to put on but worth it. They've been on since August '17 and are just not showing signs of trying to peel, but it's barely noticeable.
