BT feature complete dead

So, I see a lot of people having BT but no media audio, but as of 2 nights ago, my BT turned off and will not turn back on. I've done close to 10 master resets to no avail.

Anyone ran into this issue and might possibly have a quick fix?

Master reset won't fix it.. either pull the fuse for sync or pull the negative battery lead for 5-10 min..

Thanks man! I actually just pulled the fuse. I'll see if that works tomorrow. Night comes too fast when you want to knock things out.

Confirmed, fuse pull will reset everything and BT works again.

#32 in the passenger right-side kick panel. It was a 10A, I believe. I pulled #33 for the head unit, as well, for good measures.

No problem.. glad you got it going.. there is a way to reset the APIM through the buttons.. I will try and find those instructions..

That would be awesome. I'm tired of the BT always disconnecting or dropping pandora. It's going to cause me to download music again and use a USB lol

Cool. I'm going to leave myself a note in my glovebox with the fuse number. My BT eats shit every 6 weeks, so I have about 4 weeks left until I have to do the dance again.

You can perform a SYNC module reset by doing the following:

• Select RADIO.
• Hold the power button + the right-seek button at the same time for up to 5 seconds.

Yep SYNC update fixed mine and I like the new features!

What version is it? I think mine was 5.8. I haven't updated simply because I don't know how lol

4.6 is the latest.. for the non MFT cars and 3.8 for MFT
