Pulled the trigger on this yesterday. Reverso Duoface. A dress watch by today’s standards, but it was the very first sports watch.

Dude the company is almost gone now completely! I started in 1982 working for CCI and took the early retirement money from them at 59 1/2 years old! I started my own company till I sold it and being retired since I turned 62..........! This car I got is just to go play at track and ride around in!
I worked a total of 34 years for the company! They was very good to the working employees!

I'm guessing Watches and Wonders is like the LA Auto Show for watches? Not sure but it showed up in my news feed that a bunch of new watches were announced. I couldn't find a list of all of the watches that were announced, but I saw the watches that were announced from Rolex and Tudor.

The Rolex ones didn't really excite me but the new BB58 from Tudor looks REALLLY GOOD

I really like the older blue Heritage Edition from Tudor. I like the size and the Rose emblem instead of the shield. I'm hoping Tudor will release a blue BB58 with a bigger case size and have the rose emblem at some point.

I'm really not a fan of NATO straps but it looks really good on this one. The brownish green leather doesn't really match the color of the dial. Its darker which kinda ruins the all green look for me. I don't think its possible to have an all green leather strap that matches. (This is why I like the Breitling I got and the blue leather for the Blue 58 so much, the blue leather doesn't contrast the dial at all. Having one color set doesn't look good if the colors are different shades imo. Just doesn't flow well and not seamless). Don't ask about pricing because :piggybank: It says that its case is gold so that I'm guessing that is why its so expensive. It is really nice though the colors go really well together, and are eye popping.

They also released a new line too I think called the 1926. Looks really clean a basic. I like this one alot too, its a very simple and clean design. The case sizes range from 28mm all the way up to 43mm I think so thats a really wide range of watches. Seems like a nice present for a spouse

I didn't check omega, but I didn't really see anything new that I liked from Breitling. If you guys seen the highlights post a link. What do you guys think

The new Tudor in the silver case is a huge flex. I can’t think of anyone else doing a silver case right now, and I always think silver looks cooler, the older it gets.

I’m a fan of most case materials that develop a natural patina - bronze and silver are my favorites. The Leonidas chronograph I got recently is cased in 0.800 or coin silver. It had a neat blueish-gray patina when I got it. Seller photos...

I'm still waiting on my Tudor

The AD did tell me that there is a 3 month wait, and I ordered it back in January I think, but damn I am really getting impatient. I went in back in March to get the Glycine Combat sized and they said I was next on the list.

I just called some local ADs (there isn't that many) to see if I could pick one up today and of course none of them have a blue BB58 :headbang: I can see why people don't like Rolex now lol.

Saw this today, its another watch that was announced. I like this alot better than the green Tudor actually. It has that rugged/outdoorsy/adventure look. I like the look of those watches, but most of them are digital. I feel like the mechanical ones look so much better. Modern take with old school design.

Have no idea what all of those numbers mean but it looks really good. Its called the Montblanc 1858 Split-Second ChronographLE 18.

Limited edition, only 18 models. $50,000 for just one lol.
