Breather over PCV

Anyone using a breather setup in place of the factory pcv system? I bought a breather kit, but it looks near impossible to put a cap on the lower intake inlet behind the blower (and tighten it down). Is it possible to just put a plug in the hose running from the rear inlet and leav the hose installed? That would be much simpler!

I'm running a breather setup, basically the boss 302s kit... Peterson 08-0400 with fittings and hoses from Summit. I didn't need to block any ports with the turbo kit.
