My Rule of thumb

You cut short on the wheels get good tires

If you do damn good wheels you have a bit of wiggle on the tires

Why? Because they compensate for one another

in your first post, you said it seems you are going to have to spend a lot to get the look you want, and you want good resale value. both of those statements dont line up with the budget you are now stating. guys drop $3500+ on wheels alone all the time, and those are the wheels that resell for good money, however you still lose your ass on them.
Yup. I am one of those suckers.

Lost my ass on my first set of Gram Lights that I sold to another Ecoboost bro.

The Volks I have now were more than $3500 just for the wheels. I don't expect to ever recoup most of my money when I sell them. I bought them because I liked them.

I think I settled on 20x10 Niche Essen for $949 thx to Paul@PK, they look a lot like the VMB9s but 1/3 the price. I also got a crazy deal on a set of Hankook Ventus v12 evo2 yesterday ($530), I'll roll with those for a while.

Hopefully I'm not stuck with another set of PP tires + wheels lol. I had bought another PP set earlier to square up - my winter setup is the 19x9 and summer was 19x9.5. I've been having trouble selling the 255 PZeros. Hopefully I'll have better luck with a square 275 PZero set with 6/32 tread
