Brakes

Is driving me potty, pull up to a zebra crossing or triffic lights etc, the squeal makes people look over

I do remember having this on my focus st a few years back, got worse and worse, i had to go down changing the dics and pads route, that was only a few hundred though and worth it to get rid, dred to think how much this would cost on our GTs

I've had more new cars then hot dinners, being a ford employee.
I've never ever broke brakes in, never had a brake squeal ever on anycar

you may be able to help me, everytime I go to this site and go to checkout it crashes, I know no money has been taken out, and checking on the net it seems it is a genuine site, but can't even email them?

If you could keep us updated with what your dealer says Ian, that'd be great. Hoping you get some sort of answer before I try getting hold of my impossible to get, dealer.

I too have brake squeal - unless I push harder on the pedal :-) Please do update as to what the dealer has to say.

Typical, am in dealer, car making no squeals at all,

Mine has been doing it for the last couple of weeks, just thought it was a temporary thing but its continuing.

May have to book the car in with the dealer for this and the puddle lamps to get sorted.

Damn! My dealer is a 220 mile round trip so not wanting to go if the brakes don't squeal when I get there :lol:

AND mine started squealing again this morning,

I have had more what I would call a groan from the brakes. Comes and goes but so annoying when it does it.
Dealer looked but has still done it since

Used this morning, and no squeal, will give it another couple of days to see if it cured.

I took the O/s apart yesterday, to clean them up etc.

My brakes grind the first few touches as I reverse out or manoeuvre
But there ok afterwards, certainly not screeching to a stop like a train.

Same as mine.
