Brake motive vs Powerstop?

Yes i have searched and read before posting. My question is are brake motive and powerstop the same rotors? I have seen some say yes and some say no. I have a set of brake motive rotors i bought last year for my 16 gt and just havent gotten around to it. My car is a weekend warrior 98% street driven. No auto cross. Maybe sees drag strip twice a year. I am more looking for slight bump in performance over the stock non brembo brakes and a better looking rotor then stock. Does anyone have these on their car that they can give info on? I have seen few failure stories and some say they are great. Should i put the brake motives on or buy new powerstop?

Rotors don't improve performance unless they are substantially lighter (only going to 2 pc will do that). Get some Raybestos or Wagner coated OEM-type rotors from Rock Auto and be happy.

If you must, then powerstop. Seen some horror stories with brake motive.
