My Eco boost is first turbo car iv ever had or even drove so forgive me for not knowing
I recently bought a bov and then learned that a bov and waste gate is 2 different. Things
So I started to look at the waste gate a little more
And it seems to be (I could be wrong ) it doesn't go the same place the bov goes so can I install both ?

Or am I completely off here ??????

So the wastegate is in the location close to your turbo, under your heat shield. Not sure where u bought it, but you shouldn't have to change wastegate on stock tune and no mods. Also once you do need a WG, usually the tune needs to be adjusted. The wastegate is going to control how your boost is delivered and is actually one of the best felt power bang for buck mods. A BOV is going to give you the whoosh sound and give you no performance benefites and it located close to the bottom portion of the intake tube where it starts to go into the turbo. The stock is electronically controlled and the after markets are vacuum controlled. Or you can vent to atmosphere or by a BOV adapter

They are two different parts not directly related to each other. A wastegate regulates your boost levels and a blow off valve relieves a pressurized intake system when the throttle plate suddenly closes. My advice, just ride around and enjoy your tune for a while.

If you're going to spend money on something, get an intercooler especially in Florida. Blow off valves will not do a thing for you.

Correct, he does have the wastegate though and it is a great mod. I'll be honest with your experience level OP, I'm not sure you would be comfortable installing the WG, but that's up to you. One takes 20 min, the other takes an hour and patience
