Has anyone noticed bouncing at high speeds on the freeway? I have the GT with PP. It's not constant, but when going around 70mph it will sometimes start and do it for a few seconds and then stop. It's not out of control, just a little annoying. I have had some very stiff cars before and they never bounced the way this mustang does.

And this is on different roads? Is it consistent?

Usually this kind of thing is due to resonance on a poorly paved road at a certain speed. Sort of like the way the Tacoma Narrows bridge collapsed.

My FR-S is super bouncy at 75mph on a highway north of my house, but is fine on most other highways.

Do you have a hydraulically actuated suspension installed? Do some three-wheel motion?

yes i notice this as well when the roads on the highway are dips and peaks it is annoying at high speeds and its because there isnt enough spring and rebound in the suspension. this is one of the first things i am waiting to upgrade once a true coilover kit becomes on the market.

There is an older concrete highway near my home with a straight 15 mile stretch. If I drive 52 mph on it in my 2010, the resonance gets so bad that the vehicle starts to jump.
Slower or faster you still feel the ups and downs but the vehicle is controllable.

Check tire pressure and wheel balance. Can't tell you how many motorcyclists have completely rebuilt their suspension only to discover their problem was they were running about 2psi short or that their wheels were out of balance.

I finally took my eco pp on the highway yesterday. I definitely noticed the bouncing and my wife said she was getting nauseous.

Yeah I have noticed the bouncing as well, namely on 485. It leads to my head slightly bobbing against the head rest >.< .

Slightly annoying ...but it could just be im not used to the summer tires and stiff springs...

I just move my head forward a half inch and its fine.

I have the PP and mine does it at the same spot on I-10 everyday. I like to hum as I go over that section of road. ah ah ah ah ah ah ahha

I'll be putting the Steeda Sport springs on this weekend and I'm curious if it will help or make it worse..

I don't have to drive on I-10 much but I hope it gets better because I'll be installing those springs right after I take delivery.

I notice it on 59 north of the beltway and also on the beltway, but that's where I drive the most. Let us know how your Steeda springs feel and if it effects the bouncing.

Got them installed and waited about a week.. still bounces over the same stop on I-10, a little harsher now that the springs are stiffer.

Ride quality is great though, and I'm happy with the drop.
