My local dealer has a 2016 black on black 6MT GT base car.

Im going to go check it out. Over the phone she offered it to me me for 34K OTD.

Ill check it out, but my plan is to walk out if I cant get it for 31K OTD.

I havent sold my BMW yet, but if I can get it, why not.

So I guess Im saying wish me luck!
I have seen base GT's go for 28.8 on auto trader so research before buying.

Wow. Us early 2015 buyers got it without the lube I guess. We paid too much it seems but we were having the satisfaction alot earlier. Not the non lubed part mind you. Lol

I was seeing dealers on Autotrader that already had 2016's on the lot when I bought mine. The dealer I purchased from had not yet received any 16's yet but that definitely helped a lot that they were on the market.

My thought is this. I bought mine for $31,500 in October. We are getting close to the 2017 models so I figure another $500 off would be easy.
$31,000 before ttl is very attainable. He would need to get the car for $28200 in order to be at $31,000 otd like originally posted. Here in Ca atleast.

I got a base gt pp for 29.3 from koons. Roughly 30.5 otd. I drove 8 hrs to pick it up. Straightforward and easy to work with.

NEW GT OWNER HERE!

The car I was going to look at was already sold. BUT......

They had a magnetic base GT 6MT at another lot. Ended up getting it out the door for 33K.

I was hoping for a better price (Koons) but decided that getting it here locally (silicon Valley, CA) and not dealing with time off and flying and driving back was worth it to me.

Im picking the car up tomorrow, as its being transferred from another dealer.

That is still a great price! I was one of the first to get the 350z when they first came out in late 2002, and it took a few calls before finding a dealer that would give me a deal at straight MSRP. Paid $34,000 out the door in The north bay for that car, back in September 2002. Impressive to get a car as good as the Mustang GT for a lower price 13 years later. Congrats!
