Torrential rain on my 50 mile jaunt home last night so at no time would I have had the windows open yet have just been out to the car and they are both down.

Doesn't look like it happened whilst it was still raining as thankfully the car is dry inside.

The keyfob has been in my jeans in my bedroom at the back of the house which I have only just dressed in to close the windows.

Anyone else heard of this anomaly?

Cheers

I have now switched Global Opening off in settings. Whilst on you can remotely open the windows with the fob. 2 presses on unlock followed by a 5 secs press.

All I can think that it may have happened whilst I was still wearing my jeans in the lounge last night. Still a good 20 or so feet from the car plus a couple of walls.

Is a common problem mate, it's happened to loads of people on all the forums I've been on, most people blame pressing the buttons accidentally.
Glad everything ok though mate

Cheers. Just read a thread where a guy reckons it was his cat that sat on the remote.

Anyway, all off now as it's a pretty useless function here in the UK.

Doors were still locked and the alarm went off when I put my hand thru the window opening so proves it all works.

Maybe your car is taking on a life of its own. Don't know about you but it's almost like he's watching me sometimes.

Or maybe you sat on your keys. :D

One of the buttons on the keys does do this. Double click the unlock and hold i think, havent tried it. But guess it could happen if you were to sit on your keys!

Global window opening rubbish, turned mine off straight away. Caught out by that one too many times a few years ago with a Mondeo.

I have it on my Golf although I have set it to only open the drivers window. It is useful if it is a hot day and you want to cool the car off a bit before you get in.

I would prefer a way to close the windows using the fob. Easier to exit the car in a tight parking space with the window down.
