Are you saying you needed to clearance your WR hood with the CJ intake?!
My hood is a early prototype. The underneath mimics the stock hood as far as frame work, it's not the hood height that's the issue in my case, it's that back brace running across. My hole is fairly small as you can't even notice it in the pics.

Great deal! Can't wait! I had to put a little notch in my hood also, you may not need to go big as that one, I used clay over the back of the intake to get a reference point and made a little bigger due to the rubber engine mount movement, the passenger side rear needed a little more room since the engine torques up on that side. :headbang:
hmm good tip, i might try that, thanks.

What else will I need to purchase to install the boss 302 on my car? Have a good deal on just the IM figured how much I'd have to spend to properly install it.

Pretty much, I didn't buy that kit, just made my own, definitely cheaper to just piece together your own but that's owner preference.

Anybody with boss intake got any MAF flow rate numbers they can post from a datalog? I just installed mine and would like to compare.

I also pieced together my own purge kit with bolts/hose/etc. Worked like a charm.

Great read guys, thank you. Can't wait to get the boss installed. Any idle surge with e85 and boss setups?

^^^^^^Thanx

I can't wait to run my new e85-boss and a whole bunch of other goodies. It's been 5 months since I drove my car, super excited....... But e85 is kinda pain to get near me. Shitty how we have soooo many choices in tv's, cell phones and other Chinese made products but only three at the pump (93-91, 89 and 87)

How close is the boss IM with the stock hood? How many inches roughly do I need to free up? Just asking out of curiousity, I did buy an aftermarket hood from rksports with the hood scoop so hopefully the extra space will have the 302 IM fit.
