Im looking to build a s197 very close to the boss 302S. my question is, can I start out with a v6 model since ill be replacing everything anyway? I ask because when researching suspensions for the s197s the v6's are in diff categories as the 5.0s. May be a dumb question but I need an answer so it is what it is.

it'll be cheaper to start with a base S197 GT and go from there...you'll spend tens of thousands of dollars converting a V6 to that level.

You'll need to put about $15,000+Labor into a S197 GT..
