I've had an s type cat back for 4 years and don't plan to change it anytime soon. With stock headers and cats it sounds deeper all around and at WOT it is decently loud. There are many many other catbacks that are much louder and sound worse. Cruising around town inside the cabin it's not much different than stock. It will scream when you want it to and also be nice and tame when you want it to. It's the perfect cat back imo.
Now adding headers... That's a different story.
My thoughts exactly. Very tame at low RPM, but really opens up when you give it the beans. BUT with headers, it is INSANE loud. Very nice tone, but X10 volume :)

Hi All
Im thinking of purchasing a Borla S type axle back for my 2020 Bullitt. I want to leave the stock resonator in place because I don’t like it overly loud.

I did a resonator delete before and didn’t like how it sound but only cost me 300$

the Borla is way more expensive and just wondered what type of sound I can expect if being any different to a resonator delete.

thanks
Go with Nxtstep. The sound is deep, a bit louder, and NO rasp even at high rpm full throttle. It's perfect. And you can save some money in the process. And the fit and finish are perfect. No problems at all

So I decided im going for the s type cat back 3”.
Just worried about the noise. I’m one of these people that likes aggressive v8 muscle sound but not being stupid loud with no rasp.
Hope I’m making the right decision?.
