Borla / Ford Racing interchangeable? Parts compatibility question

Hi folks,

Exhaust question.

Does anyone know if the Borla 60561 resonated H will fit directly into the Ford Racing (by Borla) M-5200-M8SBV GT350 style catback? Or do I need to stick to the specific Ford Racing equivalent part...?

I'm looking to tame down my current system.

I used the Borla 60561 in place of the x pipe on my Ford Performance exhaust on my old 2017 GT. Fit just fine, but it did quiet it down quite a bit, to much for me, so I put the x pipe back on. Sold the car two years ago, but still have the Borla resonator sitting in my garage. To bad you are in the Netherlands, would make you a good deal.

Glad to know it fits.

Shame I couldn't purchase one second hand, because they aren't cheap :(

I really need to quieten the car down..... It's insanity loud at the moment. Hopefully this will be the trick.

Can also confirm it fits. Put this on my ATAK. It’s the perfect volume now

I contacted Borla directly last week as well.

Their answer was that it did NOT fit, and that I would have to use the Ford Racing part. Too late for me, as I had already ordered it

However, they are full of **** as it fits absolutely perfectly. The dimensions are identical and it installs without issue.

It also sounds fantastic. Waaaay deeper than the unresonated X, much quiter cold start, way more restful when out of the gas, no drone and im guessing its taken a good 10+ dB off peak volume.

However. Full gas = party time and it wakes up immediately.

Highly recommend if you have de-cat LTs and need to tame down the sound
