i've had a Borla catback s-type for about 2 years and i'm thinking about trying something different (mainly louder) while managing costs at the same time. my question is: are other axleback systems interchangeable?

for example: if i bought the atak axlebacks, would they mount right up to the s-type pipes? what about corsa axlebacks, or roush axlebacks?

as a note: i already have ARH 1 7/8" direct connect catless headers

Yes, all Borla mufflers are interchangeable.

Good question, been a while since I’ve been under my car (it’s a 15). If I’m not mistaken my x-pipe butts up against my direct connect mid pipes and held together by the stock sleeve clamps. I think the 18+ Borlas have the 3” piping and step down adapters for mid pipe connection to stock headers.

Thanks for the comment about the interchangeability for borla products!
