Hey everyone,

So right now I have a Borla ATAK axle back on my 2015 GT with the stock resonator, and I love the sound, but I am looking for a bit more volume. I was thinking of getting a resonator delete x-pipe to make a setup similar to the cat back for cheap money, but I'm afraid that it might be too loud.

Is there anyone in northeastern Massachusetts (or relatively close to that area) with the ATAK catback on their GT? I would love to be able to meet up so I could hear it in person, it's so hard to tell from videos whether it's going to be too loud or not haha. Thanks!

do y'all have cars and coffee up that way?

one of these days I'm gonna be able to make it to the San Antonio one and hopefully check out headers in person.

FWIW, I've added an h-pipe to a stock GT catback + GT500 axleback and the increase of volume was very minimal by removing the resonator. What did change quite a bit was the tone (for the better) but in terms of actual volume increase it wasn't that much if at all.

I would imagine that would also be the case for any other such exhausts. Sorry if I couldn't be of actual help, but you should go ahead with that change IMO...you won't regret it.

Yeah we probably do, I have never been though. I will have to start getting involved in that!

Yeah that is definitely what I am leaning towards haha... thanks for the input!
