Yea I don't even know this dude. He is doing me a favor!!?? I did not ask or want him to do me a favor. Pming me telling me he on the phone with Travis and Travis told him it is ready to ship. If I had asked this Phoenix guy for help it would be a different story. But I do not know him and do not need a favor especially for a fantasy kit.
I didnt know you felt so strongly against boostworks or else i wouldnt have even mentioned it. If you want to talk about it, i dont mind giving you my phone number.

I only go off of what im told. you and another user here were wanting a kit and i was trying to help out. I apologize and realize i shouldnt have ever gotten involved.

Yes, I do consider Travis and everyone at his company a friend, however my mouth and actions have gotten me into more hot water than i care to admit. With that, ill end my contributions to this thread. I hope 16silver gets everything resolved and Doc i hope you end up with boost you are happy with.

Just ordered from you and it was drop ship, some people expect shops to be like summit racing where there are 1000 people on staff 24/7 to ship lol! Unfortunate situation for op but he is hanging on for quality. Also for those who think a small operations problems dont trickle down to the customer are wrong! It will trickle down and most definitely when ur main fabricator bailed on built parts that were suppose to be good. I dont know travis but come on guys/girls give him a break. Could u imagine if someone was working for you ordered 10k worth of parts and fucked them all up and wAs like " o well i quit " :headbonk:
big companies like summitt, am, warehouse a ton, we are not at their level and try to win with customer service and better knowledge,

we do keep about 100k in inventory on stuff we sell alot of or take alot of time, corsa, awe, racestar, ngauge, stainless works, etc..

I got my turbos and piping. I still haven't received injectors,BAP, tune or air filters. No replies to my emails, business as usual. Turbo kit looks great sitting on my garage floor.
I emailed you early last week to let you know that the injectors and BAP would be drop shipping. The air filters from K&N that we use were backordered. We just received 10 on Friday. I am shipping those today, and will check on your other parts. I wasn't aware that you had sent another email. I replied to one last week.

I also need your vehicle info and device serial number to submit to Lund Racing for a tune file. If you can email that stuff over that would be great.

Thanks

At this point it is just ridiculous. Shop problems are not the customers. But the shop has made their problems yours. I would ship it all back and Dispute it with cc. I do not even consider this company an option for me going turbo. One of their fan boys PMd me today couple hours ago and told me that they have a kit that is ready to ship. Oh really well.....what about 16silverbullet!!?? He has fully paid. And they want my money also!!?? GTFO :tsk:
In a perfect world, everything would work perfectly. Unfortunately, that isn't the case. We owned up to our issues and I made sure that it was taken care of. One or two employees can make or break a small company no matter how hard you work to establish something good.. and that's just the truth.

This customer's stuff was drop shipped and he was informed last week about it. He's upset about waiting as long as he did, and I respect that. I've apologized for it, and took steps to make sure it doesn't happen anymore. There's nothing I can do outside of that.

Yes, we are stocking kits now. If you don't want to buy one, then that's fine. I'm sure at some point, we'll earn the trust of folks again, and things will be ok. We have a very nice kit, with a lot of time invested in making changes. That's one of the very reasons why it took so long to get the first ones out. If I didn't care, I wouldn't have sunk 10-15K into fixing one employee's screw-up. That money comes out of MY pocket, personally. I do care, and I take a lot of pride in what I do. Outside of these couple of kits being late, we have NEVER had an issue with this community, have we? We've busted our butts to try and make nice parts for you guys. Hopefully that's still worth something.

As you can see it kinda sucks for customers when you take their money and basically blow smoke up there *** until you are ready to ship. Put yourself in the customers place and it will all make sense to you. My advice to you is to NOT take any more $$$$ until you are ready to deliver. Sure would make things smooth for you and customer. Take money/ship parts. It is that simple. :)

Trust me, sir.. I have. No one here is blowing smoke up anyone's ass. It is what it is. Folks who asked for a refund got it. We owned up to our issue and fixed the problem. I'm not really sure what more we could have or can do at this point. Everyone who is owed a turbo kit has gotten one, or is in the process of getting one shipped currently. We stopped taking orders several months ago to try and catch up without the added strain of new orders.

I took money out of MY OWN pocket to fix this.. I know it's supposed to be "I paid for this, and I want it now". I get that. But, these are hand built parts coming out of a small shop. If there's a disruption in that process, it completely messes up things. That doesn't mean that we intentionally did anything. It just went wrong. So, I can sit here and sulk about it, or I can get the shit fixed and move on. I chose to do the latter.

Some people don't care for apologies, and that's fine. Some people understand what all we went through to get to this point, and they're ok with it. I didn't get into business with thin skin. But, we DO have one of the best turbo systems on the market, and we DO have them in stock. And we did it after catching up on a backlog of orders that would have killed a lot of other shops.

Honestly there is no way that we the members of this forum can know the whole story. We don't. And we do not need to know. Honestly I hope that things do get better for Boost Works. That turbo kit is really nice. I have talked to you at length back in February and called you back to order next day but could not get anybody to answer phone or call me back. So I went somewhere else. Talking to you and your attitude and answering questions impressed me very nice guy. Anyway I am in the market for a kit and who knows. Your kit was one I was watching. So with what all has happened don't blame me for not pulling the trigger on one. Again hopefully things get better. Good luck.

Atleast you didn't pull an sd wheeler. If my car doesn't blow up in another 10-15k miles I'll probably end up selling my procharger and going turbo. Hopefully all the snags are up and you're single turbo is up and running.

My post may seem brash, but it gets the answers/results i seek. I understood that the Injectors, BAP and filters were going to be drop shipped, I've just not received anything or any tracking numbers so here i am. What i got so far looks amazing and the price is well worth the product. Growth in business isn't always smooth or pretty and i wish boost works success in the future.

Unfortunately, no. Air filters are in the mail, I don't know about the injectors or BAP.
