Guys, below is a link to a video that shows a 3rd gear full throttle pull of the boost guage I installed to see if I was getting any belt slip. Dosent it look like the numbers are jumping up and down with anything over 8 psi? The car has 80mm pulley.

I ordered a vmp 90 mm idler does anyone have any other tips?

Can't see the link but idk how you are getting belt slip. I have the 79mm upper with stock idler and haven't had any belt slip issues for 19,000 miles

Still not making the power!!

I'm lost at what to do next. Installed new larger idler pulley long tube headers and vmp twin jet throttle body and still can't get over 600 hp!!!

My current setup is roush blower, 79mm upper id1000s,bap, vmp twin blade, longtubes headers and lund tune. I dynoed 699hp and 521 on a dyno jet. I don't know how yall are getting such low numbers.

Mustang dynos read somewhat lower than a dyno jet
If it was mine now i would go to the track and see what she is pulling for mph

Also another trick is to get another belt and coat it in vht
It will hold for say one pass but you should have no belt slip on that pull or pass

If the old saying is true. A mustang dyno is roughly 15 percent off of what your regular dyno jet will read. That adds up to about 630 at the wheels for you wich is in line with what it should make

This is old dyno on car before headers and throttle body.

Weird thing is this new dyno chart stopped making power at 6700 rpm and the old one was making power straight up past 7k. Seems weird

Steve is correct. Add at least 65-70 HP to your dyno #s and you should 615-620HP on a Dynojet. Remember, dynos are more of a tuning tool.
