Boost Leak

I've checked all the couplers and connections i could check to make sure they are tightened. I think I'll have to take it to the dealership. I'm worried however that they will try to deny warranty for it. The reason is that I've installed a Boomba BPV Adapter (which i've since removed and returned. wasnt what i was looking for). The marker on the screws dont line up with the marker on the bpv obviously. since reinstalling it I've had an issue and I cant figure out why. (also worried about warranty because there is a cobb accessport hooked up) .Should be running 20 psi and instead im only getting 15psi. pretty severe. Thanks to Adam from Tune+ for pointing it out on the datalog as well as trying to help me troubleshoot even though he's at mustang week.

Before you freak out, it could be something very simple. The boost solenoid is a little fragile on this car and is easy to knock out when working on the intake or surrounding areas. Make sure to check that all vacuum lines are still snug. Follow the line coming off the top hat of the wastegate and you'll see it. It's happened to me before and I believe 15 psi was the ECU safeguard mine hit as well. Let us know.

15 psi is the fail safe. It looks like the boost leak is obvious enough for the ECU to recognize it. Gotta be somewhere

I used my camera to take a picture of spots I couldn't get my eye/head in. Possibly is the Intercooler charge pipe on the Intercooler side of the coupler. I'll post a pic when I can

Well something must've moved it on my way home. I did a pull on the stage 0 tune and hit 17psi... That was once at the very peak of the torque curve. Now I'm Barely hitting 7psi. The pipe definitely seems to be the problem. Can I drive home like this if I take it easy I have no tools on me.

I can't get the coupler back on the Intercooler x.x

Drive up on ramps or jack the front up, take the splash pan off. Easy access to both sides.

I ended up getting it back on. A buddy of mine suggested a tiny bit of wd40 for lube and it worked like a charm. Got it all tightened up fully secured and...... It's still got a leak. Found the problem. I guess when I installed the boomba adapter I also lost the spring that goes in the bpv. Woops. Guess that coulda been why I hated the boomba. Anyway I needa get a new spring and I should be good to go
