I have the Ford Racing/Roush kit with a 79 mm pulley and VMP tune. This car is really spinning badly, I'm talking all the way through 3rd:headbonk:. I still have stock half shafts so I am afraid of running a drag radial but do want some traction. I have heard good things about the Nitto 555 G2. Any ideas would be appreciated. My tire size is 275/35/20 now. Thanks in advance

Nitto tires good. Expect week links to break, half shafts, u joints, whatever. Bigger one piece drive shaft and HD half shafts.

305 30 20 NT555G2 on the rear of my car. if you are stupid with them they will spin, but with t/C on and good concrete a 2nd gear hit and they stick.

i have had them ok in a 2nd gear pull but i hit a small rise in the road and the car got out from under me and tripped t/C sideways at 70.

ive got 1400hp DSS axles but stock everything between the OPG to the rear casing.

Hi Chedder,
How do you like the Whipple for road racing? I do track days and have one on order. I am told I would have overheating trouble. Have you experienced that?
Also is the power manageable?

305/35/19 Nitto 555 G2. They hook great for me with the Procharger. My 285/35/19s in the S04 did not hook as well. My 555 G2 tires hook as well as my 305 Nitto drag radials as long as you don't heat the drag radials up. I was very pleased with the G2.

Wow...those tires are massive looking in the picture! You're putting them on a 19x10 rim squared setup too? How well do they fit...any rubbing or clearance issues?

Nt555r's in 305/35/20 have been great for me! Wear is supposed to be 10k too.

if i only get 10k out of my rears, too many burnouts.

if i only get 10k out of my front, the tires are bad. the fronts look hardly used.

ive got 2.5* negative camber on my rears and even after a few burnouts and hard driving, they dont look near the wear bars yet after 8k or so.

Earlj: love the supercharger, one problem though, 40 to 80 gives some wheel spin. After that the car is gone! You just have to be judicious in throttle application, lol.

Off the line, not gonna be the bestest, but MT Street Comp / Cooper Zeon RS3-S will be a longer lasting optionthat's also a budget option that, on a Procharged car in my group here, hook enough for street duty. I would not bring them to a drag strip, personally. Untuned stock car I can spin then at a drag strip (I have 305 Zeons in zeee back).

Fronts are 9.5 with 255 and rears are 10.5, they come out more then the stock ones, but exactly flush with the fender on the rears and fronts dont come out as much, but no rubbing issues at all, and the tires fit perfectly on this wheel, they dont bulk up on the edges and looks super cool looking at the car from the rear having those wide tires
