the dude was an obvious jerk.

Of course they have their "similarities" but no one really mistakes this S550 for a fusion.

Not necessarily, will give him the benefit of the doubt there are many non-car guys that would get confused, the hood lines are similar. Could be a jerk, but also just could be completely uninformed.

He knew. He had a shitty grin on his face and was snickering. I usually don't see the drivers but he was delivering a present for my wife. So that's why I went out onto the driveway. The only time he even looked at the car is when he pulled up. Didn't even look at it after he saw me. He started commenting when he was behind the car.

What's new? Audi, Mazda, BMW, Lexus, Mercedes etc...resemble their lineup of the current generation.

This right here. I have always seen a minor resemblance in pictures, but now that I've seen them both side by side in person, there is NO mistaking a Mustang with a Fusion. Sorry, no way. Same family .. yes. Twins ... hell no!
