Small update.
Took the car in to work last night and I'm quite sure the car went into tripod mode as I transitioned from the road to the driveway. (Inside rear wheel off the ground).
This is pretty telling of the rigidity of the S550 monocoque.
Some will hate a car this rigid but for me it's absolutely AWESOME!
Also, now that I've driven the car in a heap of different scenarios, I can confidently say that the caster effect of the front wheels is MUCH more pronounced with the sway bars fitted. The steering wheel just SNAPS back to centre when you let it go. Anyone who's spent any amount of time on opposite lock will instantly recognise what this means in terms of steering feel and predictability.
I've even tried severely abrupt changes in direction just to see what happens. There is NO delay in the car's reaction time, it just instantly heads where the wheel is pointed without any roll or even a hint of complaint from the car. Not a single complaint to be had.
