BMR spring with

Ok so I'm getting 2 sets of BMR performance springs. The PP struts are coming off my car and going to my wife's. Now for mine I need new struts and shocks. Car is a daily driver and it cannot be a rough ride. I'm a combat veteran with back and spine issues. So I need something that can be soft and well mannered for daily, yet I want it to improve the handling. I seen a bit about BMR with steedas and thinking that route but not sure. So what's your guys suggestions and why?

Knowing what I know now, I would stick with the PP dampers and get the billet rear shock mounts. Those are really surprising at how much they let the dampers do their job. All the bouncing and oscillations are gone with those pieces installed, and no NVH impact.

The Steeda fixed pro-actions would work very well too, although honestly might be a tad much. They won't be a rough ride but will feel quite "clamped down" on the road. I have those with much stiffer springs and they work extremely well.

I can tell you from experience the Steeda Fixed valve shocks are leaps and bounds above the PP dampers in both handling and comfort. They have a much softer compression and a firmer rebound giving better control and a softer ride.

Yeah, I never got to try the PP or near PP spring rates with these, so I can't say definitively. You can, though!

I've heard bad things about the PP shock valving and that the base shocks or even Ford Racing shocks have more control. Never ridden in a PP car though as I'm coming from an auto. The Steeda Pro Actions get rave reviews, check them out. They have a wider rebound adjustment than the Konis and probably much softer compression. Get the rear shocks mounts too as was suggested. I have those in my near future.

The base shocks have a LOT less control than the PP. The FRPP definitely have more, very similar to the fixed-valve Pro Actions.
