Hello friends,

currently my Mustang GT has the following items installed:
CB005
Eibach pro street S coil & springs

i still get the occasional wheel hop when accelerating out of a corner or launching a little bit harder. Currently i am contemplating on buying some suspension upgrades, either the CB762 or the vertical links (TCA048) came to mind. Out of your experience, wich one should be bought first? I do realize, that the intentions of the two items are fundamentaly different, but i gotta start somewhere right? Stuff like the LCA bearings are a little too difficult for me, and the shops in germany either charge way too much (>300 euro) for the installation or dont even want to install it, so thats why i thought about the cb762 or the vertical links.

thanks

you don't require RH017, no. With just BK051 you have NOT shimmed the Ford bushing's grossly oversized hole down to bolt size but the poly inserts have still reduced the freedom of motion somewhat by resisting tilt - albeit at the far end of the fulcrum which isn't as helpful as inboard.

The RH17 kit really should have come with the 'reducing collar' pictured in BK051 - how about it @BMR Tech. I can make some of those on my lathe, out of 6061. The reamers are already in the mail to me.

Yes the bolts from BK051 replace the RH017 ones with a stronger grade to resist sheering loads even if they are placed on the threaded portion instead of the shank. The Ford design is just total crap. I want to see the mechanical engineering grade of the idiot who signed off on it.
