Hi everyone,

I was wondering if anyone else has encountered this problem. I have a 2016 ecoboost premium mustang, and it has been making some whining noise from the vents at high fan speeds.

It only happens when I turn the fan speed up to 6 or 7. At speed 6 I start to hear what sounds like an old computer fan whining, over the already loud whoosh of air noise, and at the final speed of 7 it gets pretty bad. It will go away at speed 5 or lower though. Maybe it's a bad bearing in the blower motor?

Granted I don't hardly ever run my system at these speeds, but I was wondering if it was something I should have looked at or if anyone else had experienced this.

Thanks!

Could be a bad bearing, it happens. Take it in and have them diagnose.
