BLIS mirrors Plug and Play??

I had a 2015 GT 50th Anniversary packaged with the Blind Spot Information System and Cross Traffic Alert mirrors and I traded the car for a 2016 GT Premium which does not have this feature. I noticed instantly how much I missed the feature.

My question is, since the BLIS and Cross Traffic Alert use radar sensors, which are located behind the rear bumper fascia on each side of your vehicle, I'm wondering if these are the same sensors used in the backup feature on my Premium and if I replace just the mirrors with the BLIS capable mirrors will this be a Plug n Play option????????

They are not the same sensors. RPA has sensors in the rear bumper, not the quarter panels. I don't believe BLISS is going to be very easy to retrofit. Looking at the sensors and a lot of wiring, plus the new mirrors.
