Mmmmm...redline and black...tempting...

Black loses too much of the shape in the rear quarter-panels in some light for me, but it looks pretty awesome most of the time.

I am loving the black with black wheels. If I didn't think keeping it clean was such an issue (like everyone always brings up) I would go with black.
It's only an issue if you are totally obsessive about keeping your car spotless. Which fortunately for me I am not. I've got a black car now, and yeah it looks a little dusty most of the time, but it just looks that much more awesome when I do wash it. ;)

Still I am leaning towards Ingot or Magnetic. Or maybe DIB. Or Ruby Red. Man, ALL of the colors look awesome IMO. It's really tough to choose until they come out and we get used to seeing them in the flesh.

One thing that helps narrow it down is that I am set on the Redline interior. Which looks incredible with black incidentally. And Magnetic. And...

You make a good point. Sometimes I forget the level of dedication/obsession some of our members have. Not that it is a bad thing, but sometimes it blows things out of perspective. Black is definitely still in the running for me. I don't particularly like the black wheels with several of the colors, but with the black car it is downright sinister!

My only other concern with black is that it seems to hide a lot of the cool details. You lose the rear black panel, and the splitter and side panels just blend in as well (though this is nice on non-premiums to hide the ugly diffuser). In brighter colors they create more of a contrast, especially on the side profile, that help the car look a little thinner and sleeker. Don't get me wrong, it does not look bad in black. Those are just some of the draw backs in my opinion.

I still think Ruby Red is my top favorite, but I really like the redline interior. I'm a little afraid they will clash, but I will have to see redline in a Ruby Red car in person to be able to tell. I can imagine redline in a black car would just be straight up sweet. So many good colors. I like DIB too. I'm with you. It is so hard to choose!!

Because of this thread I'm changing my color from black to race red with redline premier interior.
Now I'm going to have to figure out a new forum name...

Someone said they thought that black hid most of the lines of the car and made it subtle (I'm paraphrasing), and after seeing so many pics I agree.
I was on the fence about black or race red from the beginning anyways.
