I have CQuartz on mine. the black stays black, doesn't fade from the sun, and isn't a dust magnet.
Wish I could get the CQuartz here after seeing your Mustang I know it would make my Completion Orange really pop.

That's a real bummer, anyone in your area offer coatings other than CQuartz?

Some have recommended keeping the California Duster in your trunk.

Personally, I just take a dry MF rag and drag it one direction with gentle pressure. Or else, I do the same but with detailer spray.

Maybe try a can of PC dust-off - keep that in your trunk.

PonyGrrrl do you know (or can you ask) how your detailer prepped the black plastic? I am about to put Xpel on mine, and we are not sure if it is truly polished plastic, or painted gloss black.

Guys just throwing this out there, I'll do a cQuartz coating for $250. I've been detailing my own ride for months now and can say without worry that I am confident in applying a sealant like cQuartz. If you're ever near western Kentucky, PM me and I'll help best I can.

Thanks. Please ask him if the deck lid is not painted, but polished plastic.

+1 on using 303 product. It is not shiny/oily, so it won't attract dust.
I agree. I like it too plus I use it on the splitter and side rails

Any of the "quick detailer" sprays are anti-static, so it really helps keep dust down, but not 100%.
