Are these rebound and compression adjustable?

If i did not have my kW v3 I would of bought these. But I am very happy with my kW.
They are similar to the kW V2. The only difference is the price. Some people would be swayed for their quality and R&D.

I have no issues with "firmness" from the Steeda dampers, which are valved differently than the Koni Yellerrrrs. I can make them really softy and bouncy or hard as a whale's johnson with Steeda Ultralites but they never are harsh. I did have Bilsteins on my Subaru Legacy Spec B. Those were a nice damper setup... the kind of smooth but quick snap over a bump that didn't also result in god awful vibrations and noises and frame cracking death angel sounds. Feels same with the Steedas. If Bilstein had something out when I got my Steedas, I would have had the Bilsteins of course, but too late. I'm quite happy with the Steeda dampers, though. They are Yellows with noticeably different valving.

I made an email request for info on shock/strut combo from Bilstein and was told they would have something for the S550 by this November, anybody else excited by this.
No interest. Koni & Steeda adjustables are out now. Bilsteins will be more and what do you get for that? Plus they're late to the party.

What did you hear bad about Konis? I haven't seen anyone say bad about them yet. I didn't mean to say they were bad, I just think Bilstein monotubes are great. I also would have gone with Steeda dampers if they were available when I made my purchase over the Konis but they hadn't announced yet. There were many people trading up from the FRPP to the Konis when they came out.

Bilsteins lost my business. Waiting for GC to come out then never worrying about suspension again.

Two years since the release of the S550. FFS how long does it take to R&D a set of coilovers. NASA would have made a spacecraft and sent it to Mars in that time.

they were testing out the shocks and struts around march of this year on one of the forum members car. I saw it with my own eyes. He said they are also working on some coilovers and they want to release both same time.

I'm going to slightly derail this thread...

What are the differences in feel and adjustability between the Koni's and Steeda's?

I'm getting dampers and springs next month, any particular reason I should buy either one (or any other damper)?

Having a hard time deciding since there is no proper rating, that I know of.

IIRC the Steedas offer a wider range (particularly on the soft-end) than the Konis. I bet their stiffest settings are similar. Steeda gets a Marketing win for being able to claim they have a wider adjustment range, even if its a softer setting than you'd typically need.

Most people probably won't use settings lower than the minimum soft on the Konis. With the PP cars, the best dampening seems to be a few quarter-turns above minimum on the Konis, and going softer just makes things more bouncy, not more comfortable.

Maybe if you have a base GT (w/o PP) and actually like the bouncy underdampened stock ride, but still want to be able to stiffen it up for springs later, or for occasional track use.

I had Bilstein PSS9 adjustable coilovers on a previous car and the ride was really nice. Too bad they're going to be close to MY2018 before they get a product out for the S550.

That is where I'm thinking of going as well. Got some time before I make the jump though. Be interested to see what results you get from Ridetech.

As for Bilsteins, only if they are double adjustable and work well with other spring combos. I loved my Bilsteins on my Corvette, just wished I had popped for the double adjustables. Would have been a significant improvement.

Love the Konis. I was going to try the Steeda dampers but with me not being to happy with them I doubt I will try them. The Bilstiens WILL be out. And I will get them. When BMR comes out with their dampers I will get those also. :D Some people like Cold beer and Chicken wings. I like Cold beer, Chicken wings and suspension mods.
