Anyone transport a road bike in the trunk of their convertible?

I've been loading my 56cm Specialized Tarmac into my 19 GT coupe, just put down the seats and take the front wheel off. It's not difficult to slide in the back, and it actually fits inside pretty nicely.

Now I'm looking at a 21 GT convertible, wondering if it'll still fit with the top up. Is the decklid opening the same size as the coupe? Any other space limitations inside?

I can't say if it will fit. I'll only let you know that top up or down doesn't affect trunk size.
Also, if you had to let the seat down to fit the bike it very well may not fit as the convertible seats are fixed to a metal frame piece that goes from side to side.
